Course registration is an exciting step in planning for the 2026–2027 school year. Students are encouraged to review their multi-year plans and choose courses that align with their interests, strengths and future goals.
At Spring Lake Park High School, we know every student’s path is unique. Counselors and teachers are here to support students and families as they explore options, meet graduation requirements, earn college credit, and build real-world skills. Thoughtful course selections help students prepare for life after high school and allow our school to plan effectively for the year ahead. The registration process supports intentional exploration and planning. It also provides the information we need to prepare course sections and determine staffing for the coming year. Course offerings are dependent on the number of students who sign up. Making sound decisions now that reflect your needs and goals is important. Here are the steps to follow:
- STEP 1 - Create and Revise your 4-year plan (find graduation requirements)
- STEP 2 - Explore course options and make choices by February 13, 2026
- STEP 3 - Watch recorded presentations including grade overviews, career pathways, earning college credit and athletics and activities - by February 13, 2026
- STEP 4 - Register for classes – January 12-February 13, 2026

The Spring Lake Park High School administrators and counselors for personalized learning are here to support students as they develop their plans and make their course selections for next year. At any point in the process, reach out to the Counseling Office at 763-600-5130.

Students have choices in how they learn. Many courses are offered in multiple modes – school-based, hybrid or online. Students can also co-create their own course with a teacher or gain credit through an alternative process.
