Spring Lake Park Schools held its annual retirement reception on May 12 to honor and recognize the staff members who retired during the 2025-2026 school year or are retiring at the end of the school year.

In the Personal Finance and Money Management course, students aren’t just dreaming about the future - they’re planning for it. From tracking their own spending (including some surprising fast-food habits) to learning how savings accounts, interest rates, and budgeting really work, students are gaining skills they’re already using in real life.

Chase Warner just landed a full-time plumbing job he’ll start after he graduates this spring. He did all the things he learned about in his Career Seminar class at Spring Lake Park High School to get the job. Application. Resume. Cover letter. Interviews. The class is just one way students are finding their paths and gaining workforce skills.

The "Live on 65" performance series will close its 2025-26 season with The Suits, a Broadway-level musical show with a talented cast of singers. Join us on Monday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in the Spring Lake Park High School Fine Arts Center. Enjoy an evening of Motown, Doo Wop, Pop, and Rock genres. It's four gentlemen, four genres, over four decades!

A day at school rarely unfolds exactly as planned. Schedules, lessons, and routines are in place – but within minutes plans can shift. A student may arrive overwhelmed. Another might need encouragement to step off the bus. A third could surprise everyone with an unexpected breakthrough. School staff understand this is part of the job. No one knows that better than a paraprofessional.

Winter delivered another season filled with standout performances, meaningful milestones and Panther pride. With seven girls’ winter sports, seven boys’ winter sports and more than 50 student-led clubs and co-curricular activities at Spring Lake Park High School, our Panthers continued to shine - including a trip to State for our girl's hockey team! The school board has approved the academic calendar for the 2027–2028 school year.

The Panther Foundation’s annual Week of Giving and Panther Party raised $145,000 and counting to support activities and programs benefiting the students of Spring Lake Park Schools.

The “Live on 65” performance series welcomes Joyann Parker to the Spring Lake Park High School Fine Arts Center stage Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 7 p.m. Enjoy this accomplished singer, pianist, guitarist and songwriter with layers of soul, gospel, blues, and jazz.

When wind chills nearing 30 degrees below zero rolled through in late January, many were relieved to see school closures across the state. Behind the scenes, custodial teams were hard at work keeping buildings heated and ready for a safe return to school.
